Most families begin working with us in junior year, when college selection and application planning become more immediate. For students with ambitious goals, starting earlier allows time to explore interests, plan coursework thoughtfully, and approach the process with clarity rather than urgency. That said, we meet families and students where they are and are ready to begin whenever the timing feels right.

School counselors have a lot of students to support, and the college process can easily become something you’re expected to figure out largely on your own.
We’re the older sibling you wish you had during the process. We’ve been through it ourselves, so we know the questions to ask, the things you don’t know you’re supposed to be thinking about, and the moments when you just need someone to say, “Okay, here’s what we’re going to do next.”
We’re there to help you from the first conversation about where you might want to go all the way through applications and onto campus. No question is too small, and you never have to figure it out alone.

We don’t believe in making a college list based on rankings alone. We start with the student.
We get to know what you’re looking for academically, socially, and personally, then build a list of schools that reflects those priorities. We’ll talk through everything from size and location to academic programs, campus culture, cost, and opportunities beyond the classroom.
From there, we help you build a balanced list of schools where you can see yourself genuinely thriving—not just schools that look impressive on paper.
The goal isn’t to find the “best” college. It’s to find the best-fit colleges for you.

We offer both. Some students come to us for a single strategy session or a few hours of targeted support, while others want someone alongside them throughout the entire admissions process.
Our advising can be tailored to what you need and where you are in the process. We offer hourly sessions for specific questions or projects, as well as ongoing packages for students who want consistent support from school selection through applications.
